Car #1 S. Ogier / J. Ingrassia (Volkswagen Polo R WRC): (looks really stressed)“It has been difficult, I think I have a problem with the car. The rear is completely unstable, maybe the diff. Car #9 A. Mikkelsen / A.Jaeger (Volkswagen Polo R WRC): [Crashed in a fast section about 18.5km into the stage. Both drivers out of the car, they are OK].

Car #5 M. Ostberg / O. Floene (Ford Fiesta RS WRC): “Andreas crashed in a high speed sector but they are both out of the car and OK. Difficult stage, it started raining quite heavily 2 m before the start, it is raining very heavily in the stage and it is difficult to judge the grip that is getting worse and worse”.

Car #12 O. Tanak / R. Molder (Ford Fiesta RS WRC): “It was like in a pool for the first 3-4 kms. It was raining so hard, conditions are very tricky. You couldn’t see anything and all the ruts were full of water. The second half of the stage is drier”.

Car #20 T. Neuville / N. Gilsoul (Hyundai New Generation i20 WRC): “I started and suffered under heavy heavy rain for the first 5-6km, I tried to avoid all the water splashes driving out of the line. Time is not that bad, we did damage limitation . I was expected to lose a lot more”.

Car #6 E. Camilli / B. Veillas (Ford Fiesta RS WRC): “I was a little too careful at the beginning because it was raining a lot and could not see anything. In the last 10km. I was a bit too soft. It was not an easy stage but we are happy. One stage to go, we are all OK. No problem”.

Car #21 M. Prokop / J. Tomanek (Ford Fiesta RS WRC): “It was tricky, because it was raining a lot and could not find grip and especially under braking I was too long. No rhythm because of the rain, the start was really horrible”.

Car #16 H. Solberg / I. Minor (Ford Fiesta RS WRC):“I could not see anything at the start due to the rain. But I am happy, it is has been difficult”.

Car #10 K. Abbring / S. Marshall (Hyundai i20 WRC): “Gearbox problem, we cannot jump It is due to the heavy compression in the previous stage. We need to be very careful, but we managed to make it to the end. I am convinced we can finish… I think so far we had some great split times and now we have to survive. But I am quite happy with the car , we made some good progress we have to survive now. We need to nurse it to the end now”. [only one headlamp working]

Car #30 A. Rajhi / M.Orr (Ford Fiesta RS Wrc): “Good test in the rain. I did not have a good rhythm. But we are here and we are learning. IT is the first experience with the car in the rain but it is OK”.

Car #34 T. Suninen / M. Markkula (Skoda Fabia R5): “I had to reverse once, I spun and lost some time in the last part. Otherwise it was good. Now we will push to the maximum we can, trying to finish”. [front tyre off the rim but still inflated]

Car #42 N. Fuchs / F. Mussano (Skoda Fabia R5): “A nice one, I had problems with the turbo though and I lost a lot of power. I need to push in the Monte Lerno, no other options”.

Car #43 J.Kopecky / P.Dresler ( Skoda Fabia R5): “It was good, but there are a lot of rocks in the line. I was not sure if I had a puncture after hitting a rock and took it a bit easier. I was expecting a flat right front tyre, but we have not. Looking forward to the Monte Lerno stage”. [car looking good]

Car #32 A. Kremer / P. Winklhofer (Skoda Fabia R5): “I stopped in the stage and I have a little problem in the left rear. I run out of road. I was too fast, went a bit too wide and I had to stop. I hope I can fix the problem ahead of the Monte Lerno” [looking exhausted].

Car #47 K. Kruuda / M. Jarveoja (Ford Fiesta R5): “We tried to avoid rocks and not to make mistakes. I am lacking power in some high speed sectors. I think it is nothing major, we should be able to fix it before the Monte Lerno. I am looking calm? The beauty of the sport is that you have to be calm” [car looking good].
